Thumper List

I've decided that politics brings out the worst in a LOT of people. Several people have been expressing their opinions, etc, about the world, religious views and so on. So in honor of that, I've decided to take my sister's example and make a Thumper List. When we were little, my mom had a sign hanging that said, " If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."- Thumper (from the movie Bambi). My sister made a list of nice things to say about all our siblings. So, to my family, these are the qualities I love about you:

Nate: You are my best friend. You are a hard worker and a good example. You have a beautiful voice and are such a good Dad, husband, son, sibling, and friend. You love me even at my worst moments and kindly help me when I need it. I love you.

Jack: What would I do without you? You are hysterical. You are sooooo sweet and keep me on my toes! What a blessing you are. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be your mom!

Dad (Ron): You are so good at fixing things and being willing to help others. You are so giving and though it comes out wrong sometimes, you do love your family VERY much. You are a good Dad and a good example.

Mom (Joan): You are incredible when it comes to serving others. I've never seen anything like it. You are truly an Angel to those who know you. You are always willing to open your home to those in need.

Pa (Lon): You are such a great actor. You have such a strong testimony and it shows in the things you do and say. You have a wonderful sense of humor and are so fun to be around.

Ma (Pat): You are a wonderful Nana. Your grandchildren love you like nothing else! You have a love for your family that is unmatchable. Though you are very subtle, you notice what others like and usually have it at your home for them (food, gifts, etc.). You're home is always open to anyone who needs a place to be.

Shaun: You have endured so many things and have been so blessed. You are so patient with Chris and Corey. You are always willing to help me when I need it. You make some serious hot fudge sauce (and let's face it, chocolate is the most important thing!).

Monica: What a blessing you are. You are so much fun to be around and are a wonderful mother. You are so family oriented and put your family first.

Angie: You are so talented. I would give anything to host a party the way you can. You are so giving and are such a wonderful mother. You are so good at decorating and making your home a welcoming place to be.

Joe: You are such a hard worker. You are so talented in your business and have always done such a good job. You do a great "Vincent"! You are very stylish and have great taste in clothing!

Melissa: You are an amazing hair dresser. You are beautiful and have done an incredible job at making you home beautiful too. The things you have endured have made you stronger. You are so good at recognizing what others do well and letting them know.

Dave: What a joker you are. You are an incredible people person and are wonderful at making people feel welcome and loved. Your love for your family is obvious and you are so tender hearted.

Kimberly: You are so good at listening and loving. You are so talented in scrapbooking, crafts, and doing your best with what you have. You truly care about others and do your best every day.

Tim: You are such a hard worker! You have been a good example to me in so many ways. You are always willing to help others. You can build anything and it turns out incredible.

Ryan: You are such a good Dad. You are incredible at both of your jobs and have so many talents. You are a good teacher and help others feel like they are doing okay.

Amber: You are so fashionable all the time. It is really amazing. You are such a loving person and a good friend. You are a great cook and being around you is so much fun.

Amanda: You are so good at the piano! You have such a strong spirit and are so good at being personal and helping others to feel loved with your beautiful cards or phone calls. You are a great mom.

Curtis: You are so talented in photography. It is incredible. You are such a good dad and your little girls love you to death.

Emilee: You are so laid back. Your have such a calming personality it is therapeutic to be around you. You have a beautiful voice and are so talented in so many different ways. You are such a good mother.

Todd: Oh how many times you have made us laugh! Your humor is wonderful. You are such a hard worker and always willing to help.

Jennifer: You have such a capacity to love and care for others. You are so good at noticing others needs and doing your best to help them. You face things head on and you are wonderful.

Jason: Though you are quiet, you are so dang funny. You are such a good dad.

Shauni: You are such a good mom and are so involved in your children's lives. You are so good at helping anywhere that it is needed. You have made your home such a welcoming place to be. And somehow, you endure Jeremy! (just kidding, Jer!)

Jeremy: You honor your priesthood and are always willing to help give a blessing when necessary. You have always made me feel welcome and loved.

Elisa: You are such a joy to be around. You have so much energy and are so much fun to play games with. You have accomplished so much in school and are a great mother.

Ned: You are so good at your job and it is obvious that you love what you do. You have such an enjoyable and fun personality.

Wendianne: I don't think I can say enough about you. You are so talented. You have been such a blessing to me. Your jewelry is so cute. You have such an ability to go with the flow and adjust to any circumstances. You are the best Aunt ever!

Rachel: You are so talented at sewing. You always have good ideas and you are so goal oriented. You have such a strong testimony and are such a good example.

RJ: You are such a caring person. All the kids LOVE to be with you. You are so willing to just play and have fun and you never complain about it. You also have such a strong testimony and are such a hard worker.

Brooke: You have the most gorgeous hair. You always look beautiful. You are always willing to help. You are incredible on the Cello.

Lonnie: You are so willing to serve and have such a capacity to love. You are so fun to talk to and you always try your hardest. You are so musically talented.

Sadie: You are so sweet. You are always willing to go with the flow. You are always in style and care about what's going on in others lives. You have such a strong testimony.

Curtis: You are so perfect for Sadie! You tell some sweet jokes and are always willing to give help others in need. You are a hard worker and are such a caring person.

I am so grateful for all of you and I love you very much!!!
