I love my Dad. The past few weeks he has been very sick. He was finally able to come home from the hospital yesterday and at least endure this time from the comfort of his own home. On Wednesday I spent the day with my Mom mostly in the waiting room of the ICU. Children are not allowed, so my wonderful sister-in-laws took my Jack for the day. It was so nice to be able to be with my Mom and just visit and pass the time together. Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I love my Dad and how grateful I am for him. Jack was so concerned about Grandpa and was always looking for things to take to "Granpa hosipal" as he would say. (pictures, books, etc.) My Dad taught me so many things, like:
Camping.....
fishing.....
Skiing.....
Wood work.....
Hard Work.....
Basketball.....
Service.....
Making do with what you have.....
and the list could go on. I love my Dad and though we aren't out of the woods yet, I hope that he will be here for several more years to take my children camping and fishing.

Such nice words for Dad.
Thank you for expressing how we all feel.
I am grateful he is home recovering.
Lindsey,
I hope your dad is doing good, and that you are also feeling better. My love and prayers are with you and your family.
Love you,
Jenn
No wonder you looked exhausted at church. I hope your dad is OK.

We are pulling for him! love you guys! Just let us know if you need anything!!
I liked your list, especially "making do with what you have." That is definitely a trait of dad's.
Thanks so much for looking out for mom. I so appreciate everything you have been doing to help her.
Hey, I hope everything goes okay with you dad! I'm sorry that my internet cut us off the other day. It is pretty dumb sometimes. I would love to chat with you again and really catch up. Let me know if you ever have a minute. It sounds like you are pretty busy! Good luck with everything! Hang in there...
Lindsey, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he gets feeling better. I actually have alot of memories about him ha ha. Remember is helping him happer shingles on your roof? I remember his bumper sticker on the back of his truck that said "I'd rather be fly fishing" or something like that. He was always really nice to me. :]
