Nate's Grandma Palmyra passed away on Monday at the ripe ol' age 92 1/2. She lead an incredible life. I am truly grateful that I was able to know her and hear of all her stories growing up in the Joseph Smith home. Her and I also shared a bond as we were both Dental Assistants. Silly, I know, but every time we talked about my job, she always made sure that I remembered that she was a Dental Assistant too. My favorite thing that she would say is "Pete". The phrase "For Pete's Sake" somehow turned into "Ahhh Pete" or "Well, Pete" or sometimes just "Pete!" We are so grateful that after almost 9 years without her sweet heart, that she finally is with him again. We love her and she will be missed!

I enjoyed reading about her. I am sure that she had wonderful thoughts about the Joseph Smith home and her heritage. What a joy to have her part of your family!
My sympathy to you and Nate. It's such a change in your life to lose a grandparent. I thought her obituary was amazing. What an accomplished life she lived.
Nate and Lindsey, I'm sorry to hear about Grandma Palmyra's recent passing. But, I'm glad she's with her husband again. What a full life. I hope I'm cute and use phrases like "Pete!" when I'm 92 1/2. :)
